This is when Mrs Creasey selects students who have tried really hard with their reading this term ,and they get a prize and their name on the Library Legends board. Exploring WWII History in 6A! This week, our Year 6 students stepped back in time to investigate artefacts from the WWII Home Front. They worked like real historians, examining each item, debating what it was, and discovering how it was used during the war. 6J love history! We researched, scripted and performed our own BBC radio reports about the Blitz. Some of us chose to report about some real Tyneside bombings including those on Matthew Bank and on Wilkinson's lemonade factory in North Shields.
