Gosforth Junior High Academy is a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking school community, dedicated to nurturing the potential of every student in Years 5 to 8. Our mission is to provide a high-quality education that inspires academic achievement, personal growth, and confident preparation for the next stage of learning.
We are proud to be a member of Gosforth Group, a family of schools united by a shared commitment to excellence, collaboration, and 'Creating Futures'. This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver an outstanding education and ensures our students benefit from a broad network of support and opportunity.
Our student Gardening Club planted these beds, one with a courgette and the other with a pumpkin plant, which a parent donated to us as a young plant. We're pleased to report that the plants are growing well, including the pumpkin plant - fingers crossed it keeps growing at the same rate as we hope to have a home-grown pumpkin for Halloween! The gardening fairy will be in watering the plants over the summer. Also, a Forest School student, Ellie in Year 5, made the 'Look' sign to remind us to pay attention to the plants! Don't worry Ellie, the plants we will well looked after over the summer. #gosforthjuniorhighacademy #gosforthgroup #CreatingFutures #SchoolGardenSuccess
View PostMore Memories from Yellow Week! Our students had a fantastic time exploring the Quayside, taking in some of the area's most iconic sights and learning about the fascinating history behind some of Newcastle's oldest buildings. They also followed some of St Oswald's Peter Rabbit trail and enjoyed spotting the painted sculptures. The day was rounded off perfectly with a delicious meal out, giving everyone the chance to relax, socialise, and reflect on their adventures together. Take a look at some more highlights from a wonderful day of discovery, learning, and fun! #CreatingFutures #gosforthjuniorhighacademy #StudentExperience #QuaysideAdventure #LocalHistory #LearningBeyondTheClassroom #MakingMemories #StudentLife #ExploreAndDiscover
