Year 7 Have Also Been Baking Up Some Treats in the Food Tech Room! The classroom has been full of focus (and fantastic smells!) as students worked stepbystep through the process of making blueberry muffins. From careful health and safety practice to confidently following the recipe, they've really impressed us with their independence. Their teamwork was brilliant too, lots of helping hands, problemsolving, and encouragement all around. And of course... the smiles during the taste test said everything we needed to know! Year 8 have been busy in the Food Tech Room! Our students rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into making delicious apple muffins, and we couldn't be more impressed! Today, we were delighted to welcome our brilliant Year 7 students to the PRAISE event, where they proudly showcased some of their amazing work from across the year. It's Youth Council Election Day! Our GJHA candidate Lily in 7C is standing for a place on the Newcastle Youth Council, going up against more than 120 candidates across the city! We need your support! On Tuesday the Year 8 Girls Football Team battled hard in the Newcastle City Football League Finals. Unfortunately, no silverware this time. The girls were winners of the Newcastle East League, but came up against strong competition from the West. The girls showed resilience, determination, and great team comradery.
