School Open Evening for students and families wanting to join us in Year 5 from September 2026.

School Open Evening – Monday 6^th October, 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

It is the time of year when decisions have to be made regarding the next stage of your child’s education and to help you make the right decision, we'd like to invite you to attend our Open Evening on Monday the 6th of October 2025 at 4:00pm.

On the night, we hope to give you and your child a feel for what school life is like at Gosforth Junior High Academy. Hear about our ethos, values, curriculum, tour our whole school, meet form tutors on the Key Stage 2 corridor and visit the specialist classrooms.

At 5:30pm, there will be a talk in the main school hall where you can meet members of the Senior Leadership Team and hear from some of our student ambassadors about the exciting opportunities we can offer in our school and the admissions process.

Summary:

• Meet our Principal and staffing team
• A chance to meet current Gosforth Junior High Academy students
• Visit our KS2 learning area and specialist classrooms 
• Observe departmental activities
• School presentation delivered by the Senior Leadership team
