Year 8 students had an incredible residential trip to Lockerbie this week. They participated in numerous outdoor activities, such as raft building, abseiling, wall climbing, canoeing, building survival dens, orienteering, and more. Here are some of the highlights!

Gosforth U11's Ajax football team has had a very successful season, with Gosforth Junior High Academy student Jacob, in 6J, having a particularly successful year. Well done on being awarded a 5-year service trophy and for sharing your achievements with us!

Last Wednesday, the Year 6 students had an assembly to introduce them to Kooth, a free, confidential, and safe mental health service for young people. They were shown how to access the service and all the resources available to support their mental health. More information can be found here.

This week, 5C led our KS2 assembly by introducing our new PRAISE value for this final half-term: empathy. They did a very good job of defining it and suggesting ways we can be more empathetic every day.
